To say I was excited for Addison’s session is an understatement. Honestly, I was both thrilled and a little nervous—I had never photographed a horse before! When I met with Addison, she knew she wanted photos in a creek and in a field. She mentioned maybe including her horse, but with the distance to some of my favorite creek locations, we weren’t sure we could make it all happen. Still, her mom and I were determined—

and after searching all over for the perfect nearby creek, I finally found one!


We began the session near the water, surrounded by the most beautiful yellow wildflowers. Her blue top was perfection for this spot, popping so vibrantly against all that color. Then she changed into the most gorgeous dress, and we made our way down to the creek. The lighting was dreamy, and Addison was even more so. Her posing felt effortless and relaxed, and I absolutely love how those images turned out.


After our time by the water, we headed to Lucky Stables for the next part of her session. I adored the casual shorts and top she started with—they were such a perfect fit for the setting. But when she stepped out in that stunning blue dress for her photos with her horse, I was so excited. Capturing the two of them together felt magical. Truly a dream session moment.


Our final stop was a field in Neenah. Her brown dress paired beautifully with the tall, flowing grass and the soft evening sky—and those boots? Absolutely incredible.


From start to finish, this session was everything I had hoped for and more.
