Kianna’s Senior Session



From the moment I met Kianna and her mom at Starbucks for her senior session consultation, I knew she was going to be so much fun to work with. And I was right!


Not only is Kianna absolutely beautiful, but she is fun, funny, and so incredibly sweet. I think she gets a lot of that from her mom! And as an added bonus, she was a complete natural in front of the camera. Some girls take a little time to warm up, but Kianna jumped right in and made my job so easy.

We started her senior session at Bubolz Nature Preserve, one of my favorite spots for beautiful outdoor photos. There is this little area just off the parking lot that doesn't look like much when you first see it, but trust me, it is amazing! We started there with Kianna wearing the most gorgeous mauve dress. The setting was perfect, and she looked absolutely stunning.


From there, we wandered a little farther into the preserve to capture some photos among the flowers before heading over to the stone wall out front. For her second outfit, Kianna chose the cutest yellow dress. I loved this look by the log cabin and the little wooden fence with all the flowers in the background. The yellow was such a pretty pop of color!

Next up, we packed everything into the car and headed to downtown Neenah to visit one of my favorite spots. I just love all the little pockets of flowers, trees, and brick throughout downtown. There are so many fun textures and backdrops tucked into this area. Kianna changed into the cutest pair of jeans and a white top, and this outfit was absolute perfection for this location. Casual, effortless, and so her!

After downtown, we made our way down to Lake Winnebago for a few photos by the water. For this part of her session, Kianna wore my pink tulle skirt from the client closet. I absolutely love how the pink looks against the blues of the water and sky! This skirt is one of the most popular pieces in my client closet, and it's easy to see why. It adds just the right amount of fun, movement, and a little bit of magic to a senior session.

And then it was time for our final stop: my favorite field in Neenah!


The light was just right, and Kianna changed into this gorgeous purple dress. Seriously, come on! Could she look any more beautiful? I told her to have some fun, twirl around, and just let go. And she absolutely nailed it! These are the moments I love capturing during a senior session. When my seniors forget about the camera, have fun, and just get to be themselves, the magic happens.


And as if the evening couldn't get any better, the sunset decided to put on a show for us. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing night.

Kianna, I had the BEST time with you! From the laughs at the beginning to all the beautiful outfits, gorgeous locations, and those sunset photos at the end, your session was one I won't soon forget. You are just as sweet as you are beautiful, and I loved getting to spend this evening with you and your mom.
