Marin's session was something special. In her questionnaire, she mentioned some unique images she wanted, and we went for it. Keep reading to the end to see what they were. You won't be disappointed.
Most of my senior clients get two locations for their session, but we decided that Bubolz Nature Preserve was going to give us everything that Marin wanted in her photos: flowers, woods, grass, water and beautiful light.
We started with one of my favorite outfits she had that evening. This pink tulle skirt and hat are available for all of my clients from my Client Closet, and she added the best Fleetwood Mac shirt. I swear she looks like she belongs on an album cover. Marin's makeup was done by the amazing Jillian Dawson!
Next, we headed to the cabin and tall pines area of the preserve. I love this spot for the warm brown and gorgeous light. Her white dress was perfect for this location. This was also where we did our surprise shots, so keep reading!
Turtle Pond was our next stop! I love this little dock and the AMAZING light that comes through the trees this time of day. It shines and reflects on the water adding such a magical touch. We also stopped on the trail right next to the pond to get a few shots. The trails add some nice depth to her photos.
Ok...this DRESS! I just adore this dress so much. I love the color Marin picked out and it worked perfectly in this field of grass and purple clover. I added a wonderful wooden chair this year for my clients and it worked so well in the field. And, look at this light!
The Big Reveal...
And now, the moment you have been waiting for! Marin requested some photos with her amazing light sabers, and I was all for it! She absolutely nailed this series of images and had the perfect outft for it. That white dress and those boots were the best and the location fit the theme perfectly.
This was such an amazing session from start to finish. Marin was so fun to work with and she is just beautiful inside and out. I loved spending the time with her and her mom. This is what makes this job so special. I get to meet some incredible people.
