Senior year is indeed a significant milestone, filled with emotions for both students and parents alike. Capturing those moments through senior photos can be a cherished keepsake for years to come. My goal is to make the experience fun and stress-free, as it allows everyone to relax and truly enjoy the moment.

Creating an environment where you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera can make all the difference in the outcome of the photos. From choosing the perfect location to providing guidance on poses and outfits, my role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable photo session is invaluable.

You have checked out my portfolio, we have talked, you have asked questions and decide to book! Now what?

First, you will receive a Welcome Packet in the mail. A few months before your session, I will send a questionnaire for you to fill out. This helps me get to know you a bit better. Once I receive that, we will plan our get-together!

Meeting with you about a month before your session is a fantastic approach to ensure everything goes smoothly and that your session reflects your personality. Here's what you can expect:

• Introduction and Getting Acquainted: We will begin by taking a few moments to get to know each other better, by talking about your interests, hobbies, and any specific ideas you have in mind for your senior photos.
• Discuss Expectations: We will use some time to discuss what you are envisioning for your senior photo session. I encourage your to share any specific ideas or themes you have in mind, as well as any must-have shots or locations you want to incorporate.
• Review Mood Boards: If you have created mood boards, we will take the time to review them together. This can help me better understand the aesthetic preferences and the overall vibe you are aiming for.
• Location Scouting: We will discuss potential locations for the photo shoot. We will consider factors such as scenery, lighting, and accessibility to select the perfect backdrop for your session.
• Outfit Planning: I will offer guidance on outfit selection, advising you on colors, styles, and accessories that will photograph well and complement your chosen locations. I encourage you to bring any outfit options you already have.
• Timeline and Logistics: This is the time to discuss logistics such as session duration, and any additional services or products you may be interested in, such as hair and makeup styling.
• Answer Questions: I will then take the time to address any questions or concerns you may have about the photo session to help alleviate any potential stress or uncertainty you may be feeling.
• Confirm Details: Before concluding the meeting, we will confirm the date, time, and location of the photo session, as well as any other relevant details discussed during the meeting.

During your session, my main priority is ensuring that you feel completely comfortable and have a fun time. This day is all about you and capturing your unique personality and spirit. It's completely normal to feel a bit uneasy in front of the camera but rest assured that I'm here to guide you every step of the way. I give us plenty of time (2-3 hours) to work together.

I'll provide gentle direction for poses and positioning, but ultimately, the best shots are when you're simply being yourself. Don't worry about trying to be perfect or posed – just relax and let your natural beauty shine through. The most memorable and authentic photos are often the ones where you're genuinely enjoying the moment.

So, let go of any self-consciousness and trust in the process. This session is about celebrating you and creating lasting memories that you'll cherish for years to come. Together, we'll capture the essence of who you are in a fun and relaxed environment.

After your session, I will post a sneak peek typically in 24-48 hours. I know you are excited and want to see them! Within one to two weeks, you will receive a link to your proofing gallery and my product guide. Once you receive your proof gallery, you have two weeks to schedule your ordering appointment. At this appointment, we will go over your gallery, and you will pick the products/digitals you would like to order. This gives you the best of both worlds - being able to enjoy your portraits on a daily basis with beautiful, quality artwork, while also sharing your portraits online and having a digital back-up of your pictures. Within 24 hours of your appointment, you will receive your final invoice. Your order will go into production once that is paid in full. Digital files will be delivered in an online gallery. Prints and products will be hand delivered within four weeks, if you are local. Out of town orders will be delivered to your door within four weeks.

My service doesn't stop there! There is still so much more coming up and I am here to help check those off the list. I will submit your yearbook photo for you, I will be here to help you order announcement cards and yard signs. I will even be here to answer any questions about graduation, as it comes up.
