Willa is the third sister in this wonderful family I’ve had the joy of photographing, and it truly means so much to me when families return again and again. Willa was funny, kind, and incredibly easygoing throughout her session, which made our time together feel effortless and fun.


We started her session at Bubolz Nature Preserve, where her sundress was absolutely perfect against the lush summer greens. On our way to downtown Neenah, we made a quick stop at Lions Park in Grand Chute for some tennis shots—one of my favorite things is when seniors choose to incorporate the sports and passions that define their high school years.


Once we reached downtown Neenah, we explored a few of my go-to spots. The parking lot behind the Marketplace has such great variety, and the shops along Wisconsin Avenue always make the cutest backdrops. This summer, Urban Market had the most gorgeous flowers outside their storefront—too beautiful not to take advantage of!


We ended the evening in my favorite field in Neenah, surrounded by soft, flowing grass and wildflowers. The light, the colors, and Willa’s sweet personality all came together to create some of my favorite images from her session.
