Chapman Family

I first captured this beautiful family back in 2019, which was the year this little business of mine became official. One of my favorite things about this photography gig is when clients come back to me year after year. They have done that, and I love them for it. I have grown in my photography, and they have grown as a family, and it has been kind of neat doing it together. Mom contacted me to let me know that they were adding a little boy to their clan and wanted to capture some moments with their newborn son. It was April and we all know how April can be in the spring, so my first thought was to rent a studio, but she mentioned a greenhouse that allowed photo sessions. I was excited to check it out!

Roots on 9th was THE perfect setting for these photos. I loved all the greenery, the softness of the plants and flowers, mixed with the texture of concrete. The colors were gorgeous, and the lighting was just right. I am so glad we were able to utilize this space for their family photos.

Capturing the joy they all had to have a new little person in their family was amazing. The boys asked to hold him for a picture and loved tickling his toes. They also loved being goofy and getting some of the crazies out. That is always one of the best times of a session. It turned out to be just perfect and I hope to see them again next year and I am sure I will be amazed at how big the boys have grown.

Thank you for taking the time to read through the blog and checkng out the images.
